I am not exactly sure how the university ranking system grades each university, but I can only deduce it is based on the results of the students there. Singapore system has always been just grooming for results, better results and best results, but never the creativity nor encouraging inquisitive learning. Hence, their graduates are unable to think out of the box to solve problems and stick to jobs that has a boss telling them what to do, in short spoon-fed.

Nobel Prize is crap. Barrak Obama won it for peace when it was just a political election victory. Obama himself was stunned, how the hell did he get this prize?

That's for Nobel Peace Prize

For Science and Tech, it's a truly 1st class award that no one in Singapore has managed to be even close to winning at all.

No matter what it is,

NUS should stop touting itself as World-Class

It is no where near the quality of Tokyo University, let alone Harvard or MIT

You know PAP style, always boasting.

NUS is never world class anyway, if it is world-class, PAP should explain why President's Scholars are sent overseas.

Maybe the scholars are more world-class than "world-class" NUS.

Lee Kuan Yew once said of an opposition lawyer, "She's just an NUS law graduate, nothing comparable to Cambridge."

Yale and Harvard (or any US university) aren't on Singapore scheduled list of approved universities for law practice here.

That's so delusional

He is probably afraid of liberal progressive American lawyers messing around in Singapore, participating in human rights law suits
