True they don't belong to the han but china is more than just the han. If you read ramseth's posts before he mentioned that mongolians, han and i think manchurians are all considered chinese in ethnicity.

China was ruled by the qing whom were manchurians and they took over all the han lands yet nobody tells them they shouldn't do that. You see what i mean.

Do you know that modern day turkey used to belong to the greeks? The point of the matter is lands are constantly being conquered by others. If land was supposed to be returned to whom it originally belonged to then USA, OZ, canada and so on wouldn't even exist. The majority of countries wouldn't exist.
