Yes, agree. That is why the PAP is twisting the REAL truth about TFR to bring in cheap labour and high margins for businesses here.
This is deliberately short-term and it reeks of an exit strategy by the Lees as they know that they have to extract maximum value out of SG before they lose power.
If PAP was for real about improving fertility, they would go for a points systems where professionals with families bringing in young kids would be given first priority.
But then again, if you think about it, should these kids grow up as Singaporeans, they would then demand the same local wage, creating more "problems" for PAP as they will not be willing to slave for suppressed third-world wages.
So vote carefully, because soon you will lose that vote, and remember that TFR in PAP's book is not concern for fertility, but a gauge in their success for displacing Singapore-born residents with low cost labour to achieve wider profit margins.
