National Service, old enough to def you nation, but cant vote!!!

I would like to highlight the situation where NS men are apparently old enough to defend your nation, yet not old enough to decide the future of your nation. Is this fair, considering youths, as they are not adult age yet, die each year from unfortunate accidents covered in a Singapore flag, yet they cannot vote. And they are fully expected to defend their country in times of war.

And see the government still continue paying them a pittance if they get to vote...

Citizen nid to be 21 as at February 1 2015 before qualifying for voting. Tis boot out 7 months of young voter who are 21 as at sept.

It's funny how NSF are old enough to defend our nation, yet deemed too young to vote. ought to Either raise the conscription age or lower the age of eligible voters to 18.

UK citizens can join the army as young as 16.

Last time i check they are a fully professional army, they have a choice and are fully aware of what they are getting into.

I think you can imagine if the candidate is a ex-general, how many votes it'll get.
