Music legend David Bowie has died

Iconic musician David Bowie has died after a battle with cancer.

The news was posted to Bowie’s official Facebook and Twitter pages this afternoon Australian time.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bowie’s representative confirmed the news in a statement.

“David Bowie died peacefully today surrounded by his family after a courageous 18 month battle with cancer. While many of you will share in this loss, we ask that you respect the family’s privacy during their time of grief,” the rep allegedly said.

During that period , David Bowie came out wit "Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders", around the same time, T. Rex " The Slider" & Mott The Hoople...could not dig their music. The only David Bowie Song was "Let's Dance" & that was in 1983.:p
