Chitchat MINDEF in Crisis over Terrex Seizure - Inquiry underway

Here is the "cost" of this debacle to Singapore. Firstly it has damaged the reputation of the country, Mindef and the Government. If one understands the concept and the existence of the diplomatic pouch and why all countries have it, one would understand how badly this incident this is for the country. Would you ask the Malaysians to carry out diplomatic pouch to OZ as our High Comissions ar close by in Canberra and its is cost efefctive?

Secondly not many of ST's military products have been taken up by foreign customers except for cheap bullets sold to 3rd world banana republics. The terrex however had prospects with the US short-listing it. Every man and his dog knows that Ho Ching's beloved ST would not make a dime in profits if SAF was not a captive customer. Only the Air Force has consistently managed to avoid her grasp and this mainly due to the Cabinet. Now with the Chinese stripping it down, their potential customers would either beat down the price or strike it out from their list.

China don't need to strip the AFV. They just need to detain the AFV away from public view and all imaginations will run wild. I don't think USMC is going to buy the terrex.

The most expensive Cabinet in the world has no idea of the rules in the new ball game. They think LHL is the new Old Man. Guess what China has shown "pee sai?" They think the Chines military intelligence apparatus is still in the Ching dynasty mode?

The Chinese know everything about Ex Starlight down to the last blank round. This interdiction of both Sinkie military equipment and political assertiveness was an operation a long time coming. A merlion telling a fire breathing dragon to behave!....LOL

The options for Sinkieland is either for the Prime Minister to go to Beijing to kiss arse or another Ho Ching monkey middle finger facebook post.

Nothing seems to have gone right since that stunning election victory in 2015. Through clever electoral manipulation via their immigration policy they will probably continue to win elections in spite of all the mistakes. There however appears to be no stopping the decline of Singapore.
