Meizu today announced the launch of its Meizu m2 note in India. The device will be available from Monday, August 10th exclusively on Amazon India at Rs 9,999. It will be available in white, blue, gray and pink colour variants.

In terms of specifications, the smartphone features a 5.5 inch with 1080P Full HD resolution with a pixel density of 403ppi. It is powered by a 64-bit MT6753 octa-core processor paired with a 2GB RAM and the Mali-T720 GPU. The m2 note is available in 16 GB and 32 GB storage capacities.

Along with the new Flyme OS 4.5 based on Android 5.1, the device is equipped with a Samsung 13MP CMOS camera along with a 5MP front facing camera. The premium dual-tone flash is said to deliver an accurate white balance, even in low-light environments.

In terms of connectivity, the m2 note supports both TD-LTE and FDD-LTE 4G, Bluetooth 4.0, and 802.11 n/g/b/a Wi-Fi. It also includes Hall Effect sensor, Gravity sensor, IR proximity sensor, Ambient light sensor, Touch sensor and a Digital compass. The Dual SIM smartphone is backed by a 3100mAh battery. Two Nano-SIM cards can be inserted into the m2 note’s single tray. The card tray supports microSD cards with a storage capacity of 160 GB maximum.

In May this year, Meizu had launched the M1 Note in India at Rs 11,999, exclusively via Amazon. In terms of specifications, the Meizu m1 Note sports a 5.5-inch 1920 x 1080 pixel display covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

It comes powered by a MediaTek MT6752 SoC with an octa-core Cortex A53 cores along with 2GB of RAM. The m1 Note runs Android 4.4.4 KitKat atop which it has its proprietary Flyme 4 skin. On the camera front, you get a 13MP rear camera with LED flash and a 5MP front-facing camera. There is a 3,140 mAh battery under the hood.
