WBA held out valiantly 1st half. Floodgate opened only 2nd half, with our typical going going for the jugular:p

Saw earlier chelskis demolished boro, but opposition was both technically and tactically humiliated:rolleyes:

boy,what a thrilling match.
Man Utd was made to sweat in the last 20 minutes of the match.
Man Utd vs Hull City 4-3 (HT 2-1).
well at least they managed to hold on for a win unlike my Reds, dominate but cannot kill the match and in the end lost by a sucker's punch.

In a match such as this, Fergie could have played Tevez and Rooney who would have harrassed the Hull players from the front and capable of stringing some nice passes together.
They didn't need Berbatov who can produce moments of magic but tends not to try and win the ball when the opponents have it.

Poor Tevez is lost. Best that they offload this player come January.
Beg to differ. With Berbatov, Tevez's regular pecking order displaced due to similiar style with Roon. Nice dilemma. Also, ongoing troubles on his 2 year loan are not helping things. All's said, he was not quite usual self vs Hull

Tevez and Rooney showed last season that they had good understanding and could play beautiful football together, precisely because they have similar styles.
They definitely can play together and gives Fergie options.
Let's hope he can use these options.

Much was expected of him last season and the REAL Tevez did not show up. It's not so much a clash of styles with Roon. Tevez even admitted that he did not have a good debut season but predicted with ample rest during the June break, he will be back to his best. Well. time is running out.

Admittedly he is under pressure to perform but so are the rest of the United players. He's just a poor fit to the team however hardworking he may be. For United and player's sake, lets hope they move on. United has sufficient talent upfront to challenge for top honors this season.

I've said it all along Tevez is not up to scratch. Fancy buying a striker for 20 million pounds and not score as regularly as he should. Giuseppi Rossi would have done a better job.

Since he is excess, can loan to Everton or not? Need more fire power leh.
Everton already got our discard Saha (Saha Always at Hospital in his MU days). At least he scored over weekend over his old club Fulham. Think now he can get paid his wages, if he had gone with pay as you play scheme:p:biggrin:

Rossi, the small guy did show his brilliance (before moving on awhile back). Not quite sure he had the pace with typical brits physical play:biggrin:

Old fart made two blunders in that encounter.
1. He went soft on Wenger and fielded G. Neville who is better suited to play in a senior citizens league these days. Wat happen to W. Brown? His physical contribution to the game would have scare the wits out of Wenger. It took a whole 62 minutes for the coaching staff to realize tha it was a mistake to play Neville. Wat a joke!!!
2. The Berba,Rooney and Tevez combo is simply not working. United would be better off giving players like Manucho or Wellbeck a chance. Fark those three stooges as they can't put a foot right all night.
