Man caught for upskirt videoing

<!-- end left side bar --> <!-- story content : start --> A 23 YEAR-OLD man who took an upskirt video of a woman shopper at Vivocity on Wednesday evening was caught red-handed by a member of the public. While riding the escalator up from Basement 1 of Vivocity, the suspect stood behind a 24 year-old woman and placed his mobile phone under her skirt.
His action was spotted by 30 year-old Mr Ho, who was standing near the victim. Mr Ho not only alerted the victim but also helped in detaining the suspect. The suspect was subsequently handed over to the Police by Mr Ho. Police investigations are ongoing. If convicted, the suspect can be jailed up to one year, fined or both.
