Man, 29, arrested for committing obscene act

SINGAPORE - A 29-year-old man has been arrested for performing a series of obscene acts in public at Jurong West.
On Jan 17, police received a report that a man had exposed his private parts to two young girls who were making their way to school in the early morning. The incident occurred in the vicinity of Jurong West Avenue 5.
Officers were immediately dispatched to the scene and ground investigations were conducted.
The male suspect was eventually arrested on Jan 29 in the area of Block 726 Jurong West Avenue 5.
Preliminary investigated revealed that the 29-year-old is believed to be involved in at least three other such cases in Jurong West.
He will be charged in court on Jan 31.
If convicted, he faces a jail term up to three months, a fine, or both.
