Lim also pointed out that Indonesia was the only Asean member not to have ratified a 2002 Southeast Asian Transboundary Haze Agreement (Seatha). The agreement allows the 10 countries in Asean to cooperate to prevent and extinguish forest fires.

Lim called on Indonesia to take full responsibility for their failure to fulfill their international obligations under the Asean Cooperation Plan on Transboundary Pollution to prevent illegal burning of forests.

"This regional haze issue has become an annual problem over the last 20 years and yet it has not been solved despite it endangering the public.

"In September 1997, the government was forced to declare a state of emergency after the API in Sarawak breached the 600 mark."

"Malaysia has suffered enough in terms of health problems and economic losses. The government must pressure Indonesia to ratify the 2002 Seatha in Asean summits to resolve the problem."

The truly fearless Malaysian First World Opposition continues to stand up against the Indonesian and scold them:

The truly Asian First World Opposition has forced the Indonesian to bow down and assure them that Indonesian is working on the haze. Unlike the truly gutless Hammerrhoids who continue to earn the contempt and disrespect of their Indonesian and PAP bully.

The truly Asian First World Opposition could also demand a list of action to be taken by the Indonesian government. In effect they are teaching the Indonesian government how to run their country:

We will be handing in a formal statement of demand to the ambassador tomorrow to take stern action against companies responsible for these open fires.

“They must be charged, no matter where those companies are from. They should not only pay compensation to Indonesia, but also to Singapore and Malaysia.”

“On top of that, their licences should also be revoked. This would set a good example and others will be afraid to commit the same wrongdoing in the future,” he added, FMT reported.

Compared that to the truly wayang Hammerrhoids who can only plagiarise and provide words which even primary school kids also know how to write, just as they have always been doing inside their ‘First World Parliament.’

The Workers’ Party calls on the Indonesian Government to do its utmost to extinguish the fires with urgency. We also urge the Indonesian Government to invest more resources to curb the slash-and-burn practices in the plantation sector. Indonesia has been a good friend and neighbour to Singapore and is respected as an influential nation in ASEAN. We hope that Indonesia will do its best to bring the haze issue to a close.

So vague….so general…..Nothing substantial or meaningful but full of Hammerrhoids! This kind of wayang statement even a primary school kid can write better than this! What a joke to those Ivy League scholars, where the hell are their Cambridge, Oxford Harvard graduates been hiding?

Lim said the second demand will take a long time as it involves the ratification of the Asean Agreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution.

“This whole process will be time consuming, but the Indonesian government shouldn’t take it lightly.

“This is a very serious matter and Indonesia is the only Asean country which has not ratified the agreement. This is humiliating and portrays Indonesia as a irresponsible country,” he added.

Again, the truly Asian First World Opposition is lecturing the Indonesian about the responsibility of being a good friend and good neighbor. Compared that to the truly wayang Hammerrhoids who cannot offer any concrete advice to the Indonesia, just as they have never been offering any concrete alternative proposals to the PAP regime inside their “First World Parliament”.

The final demand by DAP would be for Indonesia to work on long-term plans to ensure that this crisis doesn’t happen again.

“Indonesia can handle it if they wanted to, they just need to plan it way ahead of time. Even if it does happen again, they should be ready to handle it,” he said

Which 37 threads are you referring to? I have never merged threads in the political section as the traffic does not warrant it.
