BEIJING: China would like to work with Malaysia to handle differences in the South China Sea through dialogue and consultation in an appropriate manner, its foreign ministry said on Tuesday.
Prime Minister Anwar Ibrahim said earlier that he had told the Chinese government an exploration project by state energy firm Petronas in the South China Sea was within Malaysian waters, referring to an overlapping claim in the area by Beijing.

“China safeguards legitimate rights and interests in the South China Sea,” Chinese foreign ministry spokesman Mao Ning said, responding to a question about Malaysia’s warning of a protest note if there were “collisions” between Malaysian and Chinese vessels in the area.

It's a total waste of time talking to the CCP over border disputes. The Code of Conduct on the South China Sea is already a very good example. They've been sweet-talking for a decade to produce such an agreement, but until today, it's still status quo. FUCK TO THE CHINKS.

Wrong. Malaysia didn't give Sg away. Malaysia lost Sg because Malaysia was racist, wanting a Malaysia for Malays, instead of the correct (ie. more ethical) Malaysia for Malaysians (which is what LKY championed). Malaysia paid the price for being racist by losing Sg, and it continues to pay the price today (never learning its lesson and continuing to be racist, most likely forever, resulting in its own ongoing decline).

Singapore not racist state? One of the first thing lky did was to deny malays a majority constituency by ethnically cleansing malay majority areas by acquiring their land cheaply and dispersing them all over the island in hdb flats on the lower floors to succumb to mosquito borne diseases and pork remnants falling from above.

Malaysia is lucky in that they develop the oil and gas quickly over the disputed areas. Whether it was done on purpose or just greedy for more oil wealth, we just dunno.
Philippines snd vietnam on the other had was slow in this regards.
