Yeah during that time the westbound train terminated in Boon Lay. Before that it was Clementi, then Jurong East.

Many of the roadside flats have been demolished.

From 1:40 onwards until 2:20 it's the Leng Kee car showroom area, even that has changed quite a bit.

2:27 Queensway junction, low buildings no longer exist. Too bad he was pointing his camera at an angle, would have loved to see the pre-Ikea Queensway further south.

Used to have a big ntuc next to bowling centre . Level 2 was arcade games.
A few of the mei ling streets blocks is still existing including the 1 uncle stayed :wink:

Cross tai cheong was the queen's Town Polyclinic with only single level consultation rooms in ushaped layouts leading to dispensary.

I went to the Queentown bowl to attending a wedding dinner back in the day, when I was a kid. The Chinese restaurant there had a big stage and everyone was going to the front to sing karaoke, especially this song:



This song was sang at least ten times throughout the evening.

Bowling centre was a cinema.
Uncle wasn't aware got Chinese restaurant inside .

Mei Chin now become Indian International School
Stirling road flats got enbloc
only Stirling temple and Mei Ling market still remains.
The swimming pool complex and the opposite flats and Hdb landed surprisingly still around.
The telecoms and the private landed estate too.

Tai Chong level 3 was the restaurant.
Dun recall Queenstown cinema had restaurant too
There was bowling alley, small arcade, kfc came later also had ktv lounge

The ntuc opposite came later and yes they had an arcade upstairs that was the clean up version already. The old arcades in Queensway SC can smoke and wear uniform
