邱毅表示，蔡英文在“断交”记者会中气急败坏的情绪失控，已完全暴露内心的自卑、不安与缺乏信心。用弃妇或怨妇的言语诉说不再忍耐，将要报复，报复大陆让她难堪的愤怒。她的报复是严审和严查赴台交流的大陆人士，并严控大陆人士在台的单位，还是由“国安”单位来负责执行。
邱毅说，严查大陆人士，就是严查邀请大陆人士赴台交流的台湾人士，或是与这些大陆人士有互动联系的台湾人士，这下子要株连多少人？多少人的电话将被挂线监听，多少人可能被突袭搜索被约谈，被莫须有的“共谍”罪名罗织入罪。试问还有哪个台湾人民敢邀请大陆人士赴台交流？
邱毅指出，严控大陆人士在台单位，这些单位不外是陆资企业在台分公司，或是大陆协会在台分会等。这些单位雇佣的可都是台湾员工，有多少无辜员工每个月拿个几万台币，就可能电话被监听，住处被搜索，行动被跟监，甚至被约谈，被拘提，被收押。试问还有那个台湾人民敢去上班？
