Remove the prince and you will see lots of changes and people starting to talk sense. You can rid of the 80% driftwood. The fact that policy papers are not debated and shown before hand to MPs is a good indicator. MPs at least have on the ground experience. Fake paper scholars think they know everything when their models and data sets are based on reverse calculations which means they assume that they have identified all the right variables. Man, there are so many unpredictable variables that need careful data collection. Our goondus read textbook 101 and think they know everything. Like that no need academics. I know our SGP academics in Leegime are lousy, but the top ones in the world are creating new data and new knowledge with implications that no man has thought of or have quantified before.

As an observer, the tide has definitely turned towards disfavoring the ruling party. What will happen is voters will cast anti-PAP votes rather then pro-Opposition votes which will lead to a more balanced and level parliament. What I am watching out for is how the Straits Times will tune its reporting pitch. Will be interesting.
