Man jailed for sex with teen

A FATHER of nine who had sex with an underage girl was jailed for 18 months on Tuesday.

Azmee Ahmad, 30, a technician, pleaded guilty to having sex with the 14-year-old girl at a staircase landing of a block of flats at Bukit Batok Street 33 in March last year.

The Secondary 2 student became acquainted with Azmee on the Alamak Chat and told him she was 14. He lied that he was 20 and also hid his marital status from her.

After a few sessions of chatting, he asked her to be his girlfriend and she agreed.

Subsequently, he asked her to meet him at the void deck of Block 329 Bukit Batok Street 33.

After staying at the void deck for a while, he took her to a staircase landing nearby where he had consensual sex with the victim

He could have been jailed for up to 10 years and/or fined.
