Will it be long term or just for wayang?:biggrin:

Wayang, wayang definitely.

Wait another two months and check again and you will see all jellie bee staff are actually brown malais, no exception.

Wonderful man, which other country in the world allow a foreigner to set up a business and employ only their own kind?

Siah sway....:(:*::(:(

Otherwise he could be as famous as Michelp Phelps? Yes, unfortunately. He is known only in Sg sports circles.

Manny Pacman's achievements gripped the nation, and the world for the time he was on the rise. And Arnel Pineda saved Journey. Replacing someone as renowned and as established as Steve Perry isn't no easy feat.

Guys, the Phlipinos are not here to find fault with anyone, just to make a living, do some business. Why the concerted effort to discredit them? If you guys feel insecure, it is not their fault.

Cheers!

..........

Unfortunately for Ang, and for the Republic, the 50m freestyle was not an Olympic event..................

Let's see - General Manager & 1 secretary (Pinoys), Finance Manager plus 2 supervisors (Pinoys), Operations Manager + 4 supervisors (Pinoys), HR Manager + 1 assistant (Pinoys), Marketing Manager plus 3 assistants, so total = 16

The cashiers, cleaners make up the rest of the 62.

Rumours abound that the losing fighters got made (millionaires) by the bookies after losing to Pacquiao. What do you think? :rolleyes:

Ang Peng Siong is famous worldwide during his heyday. Make no mistake.

frankly speaking, I 'm sick of hearing for the last 30 years ad nauseam this Ang Pee sai winning in a stupid category. 50m freestyle is a very minor category so much so that it is NOT recognised in the Olympics or European circuit as an category.It is like comparing go kart category to F1 category and mind you there are hundred of official categories in swimming, 100m freestyle, 200m, 4oom, breaststroke, butterfly, backstroke, etc ete permutations etc. It is because it is a non-event taht most serious swimmers do NOT bother to compete or specialised in it , that he managed to win it. Make it an Olympics event and the big boys would take interests and participate and I seriously doubt he would win it
It is only the MSM that keeps harping on such a minor achievement when the whole world has forgotten about it that makes sports in singapore so pathetic. even Mudland has more world class and Olympians sportmen currently like Lee chong wei, Nicol David, etc taht has a achieved vast more than him. get over it. all this self glorification over such a minor sporting achievement 30 yrs ago make us a laughing stock in the sporting world. same as importing China sports FT like Li jiawei sh!t that runs back to beijing when the dough is gone.

I'm not a boxing fan, I got to know about Manny from Bio Channel. I do not know how good a fighter he really is, but I know he hit the big time. Does Ang Peng Siong have an episode on him by this TV program? Only Singaporeans heard of him. And even among Singaporean swimmers, Patricia Chan is more well known (or talked about) but that was because of her perceived trysts with Jacintha than her swim contest conquests. For any Singaporean to excel in Sports, they have to do it overseas. There is no scope at home. Ang Peng Siong famous worldwide? I seriously doubt it.
