HONG KONG action star Datuk Jackie Chan “is just a stranger” in the eyes of Etta Ng, Sin Chew Daily reported.

“Chan is just my biological father,” said the 15-year-old Etta, who was born after Chan and former Hong Kong beauty queen Elaine Ng had a relationship.

Etta spoke about Chan for the first time in an interview with a magazine recently.

Recalling her childhood days, Etta said she was sad when seeing her schoolmates being picked up by their fathers after school.

But she said she was not angry with Chan and she did not want to meet him as she was already used to a life without a father.

Etta said she was glad that her mother had showered her with a lot of love.

> Unable to stand up and walk to safety after being knocked off a motorcycle, a man took out his smartphone and started “playing” with it while waiting for help on a busy street in China.

The man fell off his bike after being hit and was seen lying in the middle of the busy street using his smartphone, Kwang Wah Yit Poh reported.

He was knocked down by a car in Changsha, China, on Wednesday afternoon.

A passer-by took a photo of him and uploaded it on social media, and later it went viral.

But the daily did not report the condition of the man.

> China Press reported that a Chinese company belonging to self-proclaimed Chinese millionaire Zhang Jian organised an event in a hotel in Putrajaya on Thurs-day.

Passers-by saw a luxury sports car and yacht, with the label of Zhang Jian’s Malaysian company Yun Shu Mao, parked in front of the hotel, during the event.

According to one Datuk Seri Jessy Lai, who is a senior distributor of Yun Shu Mao, the event was only for the members from China.

Lai said Yun Shu Mao was not the organiser and merely helped out in the event.

She added that Zhang Jian did not attend the function as he was believed to be in Thailand currently.
