Given that he is so involved in GIC, might there be some serious issues there that need to be covered up?

Being the shrewd politician that he is, he'd fancy his chances of being elected thus allowing GIC to clear up the mess for the next 6 years, rather than having to deal with either TCB or TKL when either gets elected.

Bro look at the way garment is literally squeezing money fr everywhere and how they are pretending major withdrawal of cpf by implementing the MS. Look at all the failed investments by GIC and temasek holdings, I won't be surprised if the reserve is now zero!! That's y they panickedly ask Tony Tan to run for president, they need time and a lot of it, may 1 term not enough, guess they r hoping for another 10 yrs. Hoping that By then ppl will not ask question anymore.
