If sure walkover or pappy win then why pappies got no balls to give it a shot?
I dare them to because this might just backfire.

think PAP will not do some things to the extreme end. PAP will gerrymander, sue the opposition, manipulate media to its advantage. scare tactics. use administrative power to fight elections. but they will not fraud the election for example. ballot boxes open. PAP has less votes. PAP lose. lose mean lose. that is it.

Aiyah next GE PAP sure kiasu and will introduce a few Super GRC with 15 MP. Most political parties will not be able to fight such a GRC.

Super GRC or single constituency PAP will bounce to loose the seat,
the danger is GRC PAP will loose big time when comes 2016!! Go and
and plan to your big 6.9million Foreign Trash and see what u get = KO
Kick Out by the Peoples' power!

Some ministers would go. Khaw would not retain his seat unless he has a good campaign. Vivian might keep; he's ok with his constituents.

CCS might lose or keep.

Yeah the dumbass CCs better have a better tactic than to give out chicken rice.... he probably have to order a lot of cans of abalone

Unfortunately the Singapore media is not like the USA, where the congressmen and senators are constantly scrutinzed on their performance.
e.g. what policy they support and what the don't. Do they follow their consience and vote against their own party in the interest of the people ? Do they change their stance back and forth depending on how the wind blows. How their states is doing before and after their terms end. What they have done for their community. Looks like we don't have an individual report card for each MP in Singapore and how their ward is doing. Do we know how many MP will go against their own party if they did not agree ? I am sure some MP may not agree to the 6.9 million white paper but I have not yet heard of any dissenter from PAP MP.

Unless the Gov't allows more freedom in the press and more foreign press, we can never be able to get a good assessment on how each MPs are doing. The foreign press will stick a mike into some of these MP face and push them for their position on gov't policy and what they think the gov't should do. They have no chance to anyhow bullshit. This is why press freedom can better promote democracy and good government. At this moment I doubt many MP will dare go against the party or LHL. The gov't should allow and provide guidelines to promote more free press so that the people can get real information to make better decisions when selecting their representative.

Now 60% of the people are voting for PAP due to their past good record, candidate quality or due to unfound fear of punishment from PAP, the other 40% just want to vote for the opposition because they are not happy with PAP. The people should have more information on the candidates' history and performance in their ward and they should be voting for the right candidate and not the party. This is best done in a single ward constituency and GRC should be abolished.

Opening up the press and cultivating more open poliltics may be able to give Singapore a better gov't going forward. A free press can also give the Gov't accurate public sentiments to make better policy with the support of the people. Lately it seems that every time the gov't announces something, you see many negative response online.
