I have just received the following information:
There are four Deputy Public Prosecutors involved in the Return Our CPF case:
1. Senior Director/Senior State Counsel/DPP Francis NG Yong Kiat
2. Deputy Senior State Counsel/DPP John LU Zhuoren
3. State Counsel/DPP Amanda CHONG Wei-Zhen
4. State Counsel/DPP Jane LIM Ern Hui
The 14 witnesses who took the witness stand are as follow:
1. Lim Tuan Ngee, YMCA videographer
2. Regina Ann Siew Kian, mother of 27 years old son, Benjamin who was
performing on the YMCA’s stage
3. Karen Lee Nui Li Noira, mother of teenage daughter, Grace who was performing on the YMCA’s stage
4. Liew Siew Ling, sis-in-law of 43 years old woman, who was performing on the YMCA’s stage
5. Cindy Tan Chai Hong, mother of 22 years old daughter, Koh Yi Le who was performing on the YMCA’s stage
6. Ariffin Iskandar Sha Bin Ali Akbar
7. Samanatha Seah May Ann, YMCA personnel
8. Victor Poh, YMCA personnel
9. Abraham Ho Bang He, YMCA personnel
10. Tia Quah Siew Jian, YMCA personnel
11. Sim Bee Lan, Nparks personnel
12. Chia Seng Jiang, Nparks personnel
13. Chionh Chun Meng Eric, police officer
14. Samantha Wong Yu Wei, police officer
Han Hui Hui, Ivan Koh and Janet Low are being charged for public nuisance, however, none of the 14 witnesses are from the public. In fact, 13 of them are either YMCA personnel or the authority.
One of them is Ariffin Iskandar Sha Bin Ali Akbar who claimed to be from the CPF event. Ariffin Iskandar Sha Bin Ali Akbar was from Republic Polytechnic.
However, after having closed doors with the police, he was investigated but not charged. In addition, he was suddenly allowed to study law despite not having good academic results to be accepted in a Junior College. In Singapore, law students are from Junior Colleges and Polytechnic students are normally not accepted to study law.
It is hard not to speculate what happened behind closed doors between him and the government, moreover he was also from a poor family, so the source of funding to allow him to study law is dubious.
Please share so that the Singapore public is aware of the government’s entrapment and bullying of opposition supporters using the judiciary. Please note that the case has been postponed as a ploy to tire out the international observers from the UN and European commission.
