So how much $$$ do Sporeans really need to be considered a financial success
Is it any wonder that Sporeans are so materialistic.
Actually my friend is a Thai with 3 kids. He runs a successful business in BKK.
He looks at other ways of making extra $ without sacrificing the quality of his family life e.g. helping his wife get the distribution rights for products . She can then do the distribution from home.
Most career minded females in Spore would just look at entering the corporate world without considering the long term impact e.g. giving up things like qualty of life, marriage, having babies,... That is why you see many single females in Spore.
Many will claim that they have made THE choice, that Spore girls are empowered, blah, blah, blah,... but I wonder if they are just the victims of the PAP's brainwashing. LKY wanted working units & not mothers.
i dont see money as a means to buy whatever i want,to own lots of pretty toys and cars,to live the fast and furious life,to smoke tons of crack surrounded by my 19th century renaissance Elizabethan mansion and 100 million dollar yatch.i see money as a tool to slice thru this world like a slab of butter,to build empires and behemoths,to build a legacy as indestructible and long lasting as the hiroshima bomb.i see money as ammo,every single dollar earned and saved is a bullet ready to take on the next opportunity,to mow down hordes of hundreds of thousands of zombies and obstacles that stands in my way between me and the endgame boss.living frugally and minimalistically is the way to go,the way of the samurai.effortless,efficient and least energy consuming.i want to build a charity organization in singapore than rivals the size of SAF's 14 bil defence budget,with an endowment that rivals the size of Li ka shing's and melinda and bill gates foundation 8 bil and 32 bil respectively.i believe by pushing the social cause in singapore to such extremes and establishing a welfare network that big,im forcing PAP to be more welfare and socialist in their policies,to match my contributions or i will turn and use it against them.to break their stranglehold on singaporeans and give them breathing room while they consider a change in government and masters.every billion that i make and give to the singaporean public,i expect the PAP government to double it in contribution.in the end i want to be like tan kah kee and chuck feeney,when im done wrapping up the business and odds and end of life,i should have already donated 99.9 percent of my wealth away,and die broke and penniless.
