【星島日報報道】北角七姊妹道25至31號嘉蘭大廈地下一間餐廳，凌晨遭賊人企圖撬閘入內爆竊，唯事敗迅即逃去無蹤，警方正翻看閉路電視追緝賊人。
案發在今日凌晨3時許，當時餐廳已打烊，但43歲姓盧餐廳東主還在店鋪內打點，聽到門外有異聲出來查看，發現一名男子正在門外企圖撬開電閘鎖蓋，即喝止，賊人發現行蹤敗露，立刻落荒而逃，餐廳幸保不失。
其後東主報警，警方正翻看門外的閉路電視，追緝在逃賊人歸案。

【星島日報報道】深水埗南昌街97號一間皮具配飾店，早上10時47分，警方接獲店舖職員報案，指早上返回上址準備開舖時，發現電閘蓋有被人撬過，懷疑遭賊人爆竊。警員到場，翻查店內閉路電視。
經初步調查，相信有賊人曾試圖以硬物撬開鐵閘，惟最後不成功。店舖職員點算後，初步無損失。警方正調查事件，並追緝賊人歸案。
