Her "victory" costs her $10,755. At best it was a pyrrhic victory. The reality is that it was no victory at all because if it was a "victory" she would be able to claim legal costs from the other party. That would be the lowest benchmark to determine "victory" in any litigation, i.e., making the other party pay your legals costs (nevermind about any damages). M. Ravi has not waived his costs? That is a pertinent question to ask before anyone decides to donate 1 cent, let alone $1.
There was no Victory at all, she lost as she backed out,,,its not even 'Pyrrhic'..

their are lawyers who will take on a case even when it is so ridiculous because win or lose they still get paid. when questioned by the judge, just say taking clients orders, or client isinsited to sue even tho advised otherwise

Mr Ravi was in Justice Philip Pillai’s courtroom putting forth his arguments in the case brought by Mdm Vellama Marie Muthu to have the Court declare the Prime Minister does not have unfettered discretion in calling by-elections.

He wanted to sue the law society for millions but then backed out. He then asked the law society to bear its own legal costs.
In the end did he have to pay their costs for an action he initiated and then backed out of? A pertinent question.
Her costs are $10,755. Perhaps she can itemize the bill into what amount constituted court filings and what amount constituted her lawyer's fees.
