Dumbass sim. Govt conducting transfer of funds from public to our reserve and fattening the reserve in the pretext of saving for next generation. Ho ching and cronies has been squandering the reserve on useless investment losing tons of money.

They should have ask what kind of investment has been making money and how much are we making. How much govt transfer has been made from Singapore to our reserved annually?

for single family homes after 1989 the code is sextremely stringent. must build it to withstand at least 6.9 magnitude. for condos and apartment buildings, very low key. this is to encourage more high density low incum homes to be built in the face of high rent and homelessness.

very few folks die from collapsed condos and apartments since 1906. almost none died from a collapsed single family home - in fact, no single family home that i know has collapsed since 1969.

Was told by a Yankee colleague that he inherited a plot of land in Arizona n it's basically worth nothing as the development etc went on the other side of town...maybe his grand kids will benefit. But he can build a castle b live on it if he wants
