I know horse meat is readily available at butchers in France and Belgium. Some are grown locally but majority is imported from Argentina. Up north in UK consuming horse meat is unthinkable since the animal is well loved like dogs.

Again, it's all a matter of what's culturally acceptable. That's why angmors should never tell Koreans, vietnamese and Chinese not to eat dogs.
