I wonder if GY had been "arm-twisted" into doing this by the PAP. Obviously, the PAP had no other candidate of value which could withstand TCB and his instant PAP-disgruntled grassroots machinery. He made it known during Election that he would not run for Presidential Election. The fact that now he needs two weeks to decide simply means he has decided to run for Presidential Election. The two weeks is for him to come up with a good excuse.
