Do not be surprised if there are walkovers in some constituencies on Nomination Day. This could happen:

a) contestant fills up relevant forms wrongly. The rival objects to the nomination and contestant(s) is disqualified immediately. Walkover declared.
b) contestant turns up AFTER the closing of Nomination, and gives the excuse he could not find the location of the Nomination Centre/got caught in a traffic jam/train breakdown etc. Walkover declared.
c) one or more of the required assentors of the contestant fail to turn up to sign the documents. So no contest. Walkover declared.

Guess who will laugh later laden with cash?
