Filipino transvestite jailed <!--10 min-->

</td></tr> </tbody></table><!-- START OF : div id="storytext"--> A FILIPINO transvestite who went on a stealing and cheating spree while on a social visit pass here was jailed for a year and eights on Friday. Dexter Rayala Flores, 28, who hasbrown-tinged shoulder-length hair, admitted to five charges of stealing and 15 counts of using his victims' credit and debit cards from April to June. By the time he was nabbed, he had chalked up purchases of about $7,500 worth of jewellery, $850 for a cell phone, and $1,400 of clothes and cosmetics.
Police checks on the footage of closed-circuit television cameras at the stores led to his arrest on June 22. Through his lawyer, Flores told the court that his father, who was a reporter and activist, had been shot dead by a right wing death squad in the town of Passay in the Philippines when Flores was four years old. Flores also told his lawyer he had been raped by three men when he was l3. From then on, he said he could only find comfort in the company of transvestites. He gradually became one of them and went for breast augmentation. He is now hoping to undergo a sex transplant operation to become a complete woman, the court heard.
