Father charged with raping, sodomising his three children in Kuala Terengganu​

KUALA TERENGGANU: A man was charged in the Sessions Court here, today with raping and sodomising his three children.

The 38-year-old pleaded not guilty after the seven charges against him were read before Judge Nooriah Osman.

On the first and second charges, the man is accused of raping his 13-year-old child.

He also faces three other charges of having sex with his 12-year-old child, and two charges of committing unnatural sex against the nine-year-old.

He allegedly committed all the offenses in a house in the Kuala Nerus district, between February last year and May this year.

The accused is charged under Section 376 (3), Section 377CA, and 377C of the Penal Code with a sentence of up to 30 years' imprisonment and caning, if convicted.

The prosecution was led by Deputy Public Prosecutor Intan Nur Hilwani Mat Rifin, while the accused was not represented.

No bail was allowed and the court set July 12 for re-mention of the case.

Meanwhile, in the Magistrate's Court, the accused faced another charge of injuring his wife under Section 323/326A of the Penal Code.
