With eyes that melt your heart with one glance, well-toned bod, Filipino actors Jake and Gerald are set to take Singapore by storm when Ch5 screens the drama The Two of Us starting Aug 31.
Jake and Gerald started off as housemates in the Filipino version of Big Brother before going on to acting in several dramas.
Besides having the common point of being hunky, the two actors both have mixed heritage: Gerald is Filipino-American while Jake is Spanish-Filipino.
Jake is also a model and the 23-year-old made headlines recently when he bared his behind during a fashion show, to the delight of his female fans.
In The Two of Us, Jake and Gerald are two buddies with the same name who comes from two entirely different family backgrounds.
Things complicate when the two of them fall in love with the same woman, played by actress Kim Chiu, and after it was revealed that they are half-brothers.
Interestingly, Gerald is said to be dating co-star Kim Chiu in real life. The rumoured couple has paired up on screen several times and their chemistry proved to be a hit with audience.
The Two of Us premieres Aug 31 on Channel 5, Tuesday to Thursdays, 7pm to 8pm.
