Can anybody remember a murder case during the 60s, where a classmate hacked another to death. It was long court case case. I am not sure if the name like sean or freddy. It seems this case is being erased off from our history. I can't find anything about it.

I think Lim Ban Lim was killed in a shootout near Margaret Drive in Queenstown, not Geylang. I don't remember anything about him killing himself.

In the 1970s Lim Ban Lim, who was responsible for a number of robberies and breakins, later killed himself with a hand grenade in a Police ambush in Geylang.

It was the other way around,i.e. a Brit (John Martin Scripps) killed a S African in Riverview Hotel and cut him into pieces.

2. the South African who killed the Brit in a hotel and cut up his body and threw into the river.
