Each Human life is precious & means something special to another. Even if the father feels burdened by his autistic twin sons & would rather abandoned them by killing them, WE, Civilized fellow citizens & Humans WOULD NEVER condone such barbaric actions upon the innocents, nor had WE, ever abandoned any such fellow citizens & Humans born with defects, but to help & assist them to live life, adjust NOT just their mental perceptions but EVEN in society's perceptions of them.

THEY are one of us, & we will NEVER abandon them, the way OTHERS abandoned us in 1965 & assumed we will roll over & starve to death....

By taking inhumane unilateral actions, is the father better off today? NO. Murder is murder & capital punishment by civilized society awaits him. Even worse - did his thoughtless & barbaric actions saved his twin sons in any way? NO. Those kids were DEPRIVED of an opportunity to live, in Singapore where we abandon none, instead to help & rehabilitate them & assist them to contribute to society later in life, as we had done for thousands of families facing such same situations.

The day when parents are allowed to kill their kids is the day we as a society will only revert back to ancient days of Jungle laws that almost destroyed Human civilization. Those who support such killings of innocents will eventually face a situation in their own lifetime - health, societal issues, etc that can be resolved but now claimed that death of innocents is a solution for others. They may now claimed that death is nothing, but when the time comes, they will cry & plead just to see another sunrise, as billions had pleaded, since the dawn of civilization...

By default, no living being wishes to die if everything is running as per normal at their own perception of the moment. His father think it is good for his children. Did the children think it is good not to be alive? It is not about not giving them ice cream to eat, it is about the right to live.

Why not use the children as an example to fight against childhood vaccine? He and his children will be doing a lot of good, just for the sake of giving an example.

i agree that the children might not feel unhappy about themselves.
