the preachers are loaded with money, maybe claiming it from GOD. didn't god's words is also to spread kindness, compassion and charity? if they are men of god, why the no-confidence to hold on to so much excessive wealth instead of spreading it to the less fortunate. don't forget: they are preachers and monks - they are some kind of "holy vessels" which should practice what they preach. but do they?
why are many incensed when they realise all these "holy people" are so super rich? envy or more like disappointment and betrayers of the faith?

rich religious leaders helping others, then they wouldn't be rich, right? their wealth would be divested out to all the needies.
they are rich becos of greed. and if there is greed, there won't be any compassion to help. instead they would want more. in order to want more, they would have to pledge war and conquer to gain more.
for the religious leaders, they are pledging a "spiritual war of principality" or the power of evil so that in exchange for their souls to the devil, they would remain rich and powerful.
go back in history. were christ & his apostles rich? why would a king forsake his wealth to attain enlgihtenment as a BUDDHA? were all these great men rich? their invaluable intangible wealth was nothing but an intrinsic everlasting happiness to themselves and to all the sentient beings.
