Sympathies and empathies, bro. After I hit a net total of $33k loss (mostly chasing losses, same as you, and also at RWS... what bittersweet memories RWS now holds for me), I've finally accepted that, it's ultimately better to faster lose and move on (and never go back into any form of gambling ever again), then to continue wasting the rest of my life being stuck in the false illusion of gambling.

I sympathize with all gamblers too. When gambler win they want to win more, when lose need to chase back lost. So can never win eventually. Knowing is confirm will lose still want to gamble, who to blame ? To me is just a disease, a sickness. Gambling is evil..ornitoufu !

the guy who lost $90,000 was just a supervisor in a factory.
He was as working class as they come.

why you associate yourself with lowly working class like factory supervisor ?

Because I was a lowly, working class member of society at the time.

You obviously haven't heard of "Micropolis".

I think that was 600 over million or was it close to a billion?

Obviously as Sinkie are balless then they are still balless now. They allowed her to plunge somemore into Charter electronics and then all the other things she later touched turned to shit.

From financial to even a kiddy school.

Of course the balless Sinkie having no say, will still find their Con People Fund totally emptied the moment they cross over and 'celebrate' their 55 birthday! hahahahaha

It is almost impossible to trade stocks from 2002 and still make net loss.

Unless.....he follows the Ho Jinx way of investing. Buy high sell low.

If he pick any stock, and kept it for 11 years, surely got 80% chance of making money.

you are dead wrong!

He said there are many stocks that crashed very badly from 2002 till now including some BLUE Chips example Creative was abt $24 in 2002, now how much! Also that Venture and many other stocks also crashed from 2002.

And especially that blue chip CSM, he said noone would have envisaged a BLUE chip can crash from $19 to $4 in 2002 and then throughout the next few years continue crashing further from $4 to below 30 cts! Meaning a BLUE CHIP CSM crashed from $19 to below 30 cts.

Also some Indonesian penny stocks crashed very badly too

I just heard this from my colleague yesterday.

He said he started trading/buying shares in 2002 March and had been trading/buying shares for the past 11 years. He said he treat the stock market as some form of excitement/entertainment.

He said he kept a record of all his profits and losses and he said overall for the past 11 years till now he had net lost $35,000.

I'm just curious, do you chaps think losing $35,000 in stocks over an 11 year period is a lot of money lost for a working-class sporean?

He is a average typical working-class sporean.

Little bit of money la. You know majority of ppl in this forum are millionaires. One of them has a collection of patek philippe watches.

Yes many who lost money in gold futures trading started cursing the government for allowing these bucket shops to operate.

However, for some reason, I realised early in life that I was 100% responsible for my own actions and it was my greed and my desire to make a quick buck that drove me into making poor investment decisions. The PAP had nothing to do with it at all. I was my own damned fault.

You need some skill, research and some luck to make a killing. These niggers don't know how to invest.

Vast majority of forummners here are only working-class, with only a few middle-class, that's all. But don't have multi-millionaires in this forum lah!

The very wealthy ones won't come to this forum.

Simple, blamed PAP for allowing futures, gold n share trading in SG....

Just like many losers who lost their fortunes in the casinos, instead of blaming themselves, they blamed the govt for allowing casinos into SG!!!

Thank you for politicizing this thread.

If your friend is smart enough, he should weigh his portfolio and calculate the numbers of lots to hedge by using the Futures or Option market if the cash market is out of the moneyor against him.

I can't be working class anymore because I don't do any work.

well according to him you must be cos most are either middle or working class and by working class he means wealth and not actually work whether physical or any other.

This is why PAP dont trust us to save for our own retirement.
