Do we need constant filling of Migrants?

I guess most of you guys have read the article on Yahoo news, Straits time online about Singapore needing this Constant filling of Migrants.

Is it because of $$$$ or ............
Most countries in the world are worried bout their population over-growing or keeping population in control but we are more worried about the People Growth, Which i think for them is all about $$$$. Human Growth = $$$$ ... There are so many countries in the world that have the same no. of population or less then us and doesnt have any Resources as well, But population growth is not their concern. Is our Industry or Economy strategy all wrong? WHY WHY WHY

W.P or The People of Singapura ought to pool our money together and hire a credible University or Institution to give us a Second option.

MIW is only concerned with the absolute economic growth. The easiest path is to increase the "working/productive" population. And they are rewarded based on that.

So yes, everything is about $$$$.
