I've alot of evidence to show that the egyptians were latter settlers and repaired the pyramids and sphinx fro their own use.
The pyramids and sphinx were constructed around 17,000 (or is it 14,000?) years ago, when the sahara was green and wet.

in the 80's, the Japs tried to build a mini version of the Giza pyramid near the original...............
they tried using the tools that the ancient Egyptians had...............boats transporting the stones sank as the stones were far too heavy............logs placed under the stones to move them were crushed...............
they then decided to use 1980's machinery................despite using the latest technology..............they gave up half-way.................they say it couldn't be done............

the sphinx is way older than the pyramids, that we know. the original head was that of a lion.

Of course we can. Those jokers were trying to use what was thought to be yesterday's technology to build them and they failed. This only meant they had wrongly estimated the technology that was used in the past.

Bro, you are talking about science (even if we can agree it is totally science) about the past in which we know only a tiny fraction of. When we discover a single tool, we claim to know the whole technology of that time. Is like you discover a battery and you extrapolate that we have electronics, ICs, LED display, iPhones and Andriods.
