there is something all xtians fear to discover deeper. they rather stick on to their belief.

in buddhism, even Buddha encouraged buddhist to challenge the sutras and teachings. if one is too attached to a teaching/sutra or whatever, it's time and better to trash it.

good deeds deserve good karma. from the violent endings of the 12 apostles, it seemed otherwise.

The original book of the bible consist of much more than what is recorded in the current bible, there is Book of thomas, book of Judas and much more...
Due to political reason, during that time, the church decide to compile only those books that they wish the world to see, those that strengthen the power and belief to the church and Goverment.
if you will ask me, many things is not recorded.

How will it feel if you found that jesue is just a very normal man, have kids/wife and do things normal people do?

You are right:wink: Religion is a power political tool. History don't lie.

Depends. If it is situational, even Christians have different interpretations of things. For example, should a woman sleep with her enemies to save her family. Should the police shoot robbers if they start killing hostages.

But if it concerns areas of truth, such as origin and destiny, that is another. If the teachings of a religion are disputable in this regard, it cannot be the truth.

If left to opinion, different people of the same religion come up with their own teachings, it is likely that these teachings will contradict one another. This belief itself will become incoherent.

As much as it sounds alluring, truth is not an opinion.

Interpretations can be challenged, but not Truth.
