AWARE Manual wrote this?
Anal sex is also suggested as a neutral term. A suggested explanation for this is that 'anal sex can be healthy or neutral if practised with consent and with a condom'. The manual notes: 'Not having sex is the best way of preventing Aids and STI, but if you choose to be sexually active, using condoms correctly and consistently is a key way to reduce risk.'
From this, can we adduce that anal sex here is meant for homosexual only?
Does not see this written as such.
"Anal sex is neutral" can also be written for heterosexual couples, so is this what the manual tries to say?
In any case, AWARE Manual should incorporate existing laws into it, and not just what MOE says about family values. MOE knows shit about family values. The day it outsourced sex education was the day it gave up its rights to comment. MOE is full of inconsistent and incompetent policy-makers, it does not know what it is doing most of the time, no thanks to the Minister of Education.
Let's get this right. The law now legalizes anal sex if it lead to sexual intercourse between two persons. In this regard, the law totally assumes that the sexual intercourse is between heterosexuals. There is no way anal sex can lead to sexual intercourse if it is done between homosexuals. The anal act is the sex in itself. There is no other orifice to penetrate.
Here's another question. Is giving and receiving a blowjob illegal?
