SINGAPORE: More than 400 dengue infections were reported in the week ending Jan 20, marking the seventh consecutive week of increase, newly released data by the National Environment Agency (NEA) showed on Tuesday (Jan 23).

NEA said it identified 308 clusters from October to December, of which 269 were closed in the same period. The number of clusters identified increased by about six per cent compared with the previous quarter.

Additionally, 5,200 mosquito breeding habitats were detected in the same period, an increase of 15 per cent from the previous quarter.

Little did they know that the cause is too many construction and useless redevelopment in Jurong and Boon Lay. Those living in central area especially Ridout no such problem.

Yes, they are the main source of the problem. The recent collapsed Tiong Aik had one site stopped work for massive mosquito breeding which was the third largest outbreak since 2000. Nearby 1-KM neighbourhood all kanna.

If there are mosquitoes breeding, rightfully building and MRT construction sites should stop work but NEA focuses their manpower on residential areas because if Construction sites stop work, a lot of money involve.

Boon Lay is being dug up like crazy. I hadn't been there in a long time, last time I went to the library there to borrow a book not available elsewhere.

Along Jurong West St 64 you will find many unfinished elevated MRT pillars.

We should rejoice. Dengue infections going up is a sure sign that the Wolbachia project is working brilliantly, just like the mRNA vaxx is causing people to drop dead suddenly.

Daft Sinkies should stop assuming the benevolence of the PAP technocrats. Believing that the PAP technocrats, although greedy and cock up things once in a while, are generally good and kind and always looking out for the best interests of Sinkies.

Wrong.

They are genuinely evil.

Once this illusion has been shattered, everything else is easy.

It's well known construction sites are the main breeding grounds for mosquitoes but it keeps happening as 70% keep voting for PAP who will put commercial and business interest over individual welfare.
All the blames goes to the individual households

What is the maximum distant a dengue infected mosquito can migrate and bite another healthy person in a non dengue cluster/area?

Also project wolbachia is to release male mosquito to mate with female dengue carrying mosquito.
Why after mating, the female mosquitos no longer can carry virus?
