Delisting for this case means the shares have been mostly bought by a single investor.

The deal will go thru. Just have to look at financials. Look at what the analysts are saying. The projected EBIT is only 1/3 going forward. The required investment by SMRT to meet the new performance target is an estimated $2.8b and their current debt is over $700m. Its obvious that it is a facing measure. The fact is that is a one time offer is most telling i.e. if they don't they will suffer the consequences.

Temasek offered to buy out SMRT at $1.68 per share. The shares are now trading about $1.65 a piece. The deal is most likely to go through. Does this mean free money for those who buy now?
