SINGAPORE: A severely decomposed remains of a 49-year-old man were discovered outside the premises of Republic Polytechnic (RP) last Saturday (19 Aug).
Law enforcement received notification of an unnatural death case at 7 Woodlands Avenue 9 around 2:45 pm on the same day.
According to Singaporean media outlet The Straits Times, an RP spokesperson clarified that the individual was not connected to the school’s community.
Initial findings from the police indicate that there is no suspicion of foul play.
Photographs published on the online news platform Stomp depict the body situated at the base of a grassy incline adjacent to a fence.
Additional images display seven police officers, donned in gloves and masks, positioned at the top of the incline, a distance away from where the body was located.
As per an eyewitness account shared with Stomp, landscaping workers stumbled upon the body and promptly alerted the authorities.
A portion of the grassy area was cordoned off for a few hours as investigative procedures were conducted, according to a report by Stomp.
By 6.30 pm, the body had been removed.

hanor, the inclination to wander around a steep incline will lead and end one's life to, and ultimately end in a slippery slope

So did he joined in the rest to come back for their annual month long R & R on 16 August? Or was he confined in camp as he is just a fresh recruit who has just been enlisted?
