The last part you mention, horror! I hope is a thought it would not happen! Just like the nightmare we are hoping that, it would not happen, one day they confess they have used our CPF for LONG TERM investments....& our next generation may get some of it... that is the kind of nightmare we are getting..it seems like nothing is sacred anymore..more holes in the 'dykes'...the 'wall' is crumbling...
I gave up on my CPF $$$$$$ many years ago. The many times they changed goalposts tell me something may not be right. The only way to get your CPF is to surrender your IC while still alive.
They can always change the rule that when u surrender IC, u surrender your CPF also!!
So far so good. Friends who gave up their citizenship managed to get everything back.
