SINGAPORE: A former banker is now free of the charges of insulting and outraging the modesty of two women.
The women, both in their early twenties, withdrew their charges on Wednesday against Mr Alfie Othman.
He was let off with a stern warning, with no reason given by the prosecution.
Mr Othman was a former banker with J.P. Morgan and Citibank.
He is well-known for his involvement in several charities that work for the welfare of ex-offenders and single mothers, as well as for children's homes.
