A student has been arrested after he allegedly stabbed his schoolmate to death in western China in an argument over a girl, according to a newspaper report.
The student was arrested at the scene after killing his classmate in Deyang in Sichuan province on Thursday afternoon, the Chengdu Economic Daily reported.
The killing took place by a vocational college in Guanghan.
The student knelt on the ground in remorse for what he had done, according to the newspaper.
