Chinese astronaut Liu Wang successfully maneuvers Shenzhou-9 spacecraft to dock with Tiangong-1 space lab at 12:49:35 BJT.
The success of the manual docking operation is applauded by ground control staff.

Today docking success is a major step toward China building a permanent space station around 2020.
