CHina's steam engine carrier need to get ready for 48hours before leaving the port.
The carrier is diesel powered. It needed to be refuelled once 3 to 4 days.
In order to run away from enemy, it needed 2 hours to get the engine ready for acceleration.
What kind of carrier is china'a having.

Convert to nuclear energy and powered ?? They had been making frigate and warships like making Chinese wanton. Their fleet is even bigger then USA now.
With increase fleets like making wanton, how many people will recruited to run your navy operation? How are you going to trqin enough youngster to mend the ships ? Running the ships ops is one, you need to train enough officer to rein in on the ops during war and importantly during peacetime.
