Cathedral burgled on Monday
A ROOM at the Cathedral of the Good Shepherd at Queen Street was burgled on Monday night.
After making away with loot worth about $2,500, the thief scribbled a note on a whiteboard, saying: 'If you love God, lives live on, peopeople (sic) need more, than what you have. God Bless.'
The incident is believed to have taken place some time after staff of the cathedral had locked up the premises and left at 9.30pm.
A room used by the Singapore-Korean Catholic Committee was broken into.
According to a committee member, three computers, a watch, a guitar and a digital camera were taken.
'It looks like they kicked a hole through the door and then let themselves in to steal the items,' said committee member B.W. Kim, 47.
'Nothing else was destroyed in the room.'
