Just my two cents worth. No offence bro. We are novices here learning how to bet at casino. In order to start, one must starts small like betting $10. That is the process of learning, only then we can increase the bets as time goes on. To learn, is never a waste of time. You have come far to be a season big time gambler.
Do you still remember how you started betting like a beginner. Just like a person looking for a job with a starting pay of #1000 per month. Eventually he may work his way a $10000 per month with years of learning and experience. So when you are that bracket salaried man, would tell people of the $1000 man that your job is a waste of time.
I know you command a reputation over the other forum sharing your fl experience.
Can you do the same here by sharing your experieince as a casino player. I am sure members here will be delighted after all what goes around must come around.

like i say bro, if ur salary is 1000 a month, stay away from gambling.me not trying to be mean. cause when u gamble, ur fear is 'wat if i lost'FEAR is the key factor on losing.

if u can overcome fear, u r there:biggrin:

My FR for today.

Was at LW today.

It was very easy today. The moment i start my bet. I have a streak of 10 bankers. My stake $50 each hand. I won $500 in 15 mins.

I decided to stop and hang around. However I find it hard to hang around doing nothing. I try very hard to control myself to continue gambling. So this last for 6 hours before my time to depart. So far i am maintaining discipline.

And to all dear brothers and sisters, please do not start any flaming war in this forum before admin delete this topic. I sincerely thank all shared advice as I am benefitting now.

Will post my every round FR if go LW or LJ. This week is enough for me, next week i am going again.

Congratulations!

Another thing u need to understand is that on average, out of 10 times, u will guess 5 times right and 5 times wrong.

Since now that you have won, therefore be prepared for the losing part. If you begin to lose, stop betting but do shadow betting , ie betting in your mind only. Only start to bet again if you lose in your shadow betting.

Remember, must have discipline, plan b4 u play in casino, and stick to your plan on the table. No matter what, dont change your plan whilst in the table.

Good for you that you won $500 and stopped a while. Since you find it hard to control yourself, why not bet, say $50 on the jackpot machine to divert or is there any other activities for you to relax and past time. I have never been to a cruise ship, If I
were you I will do the same, cos I don't gamble long. In Genting, I will know how to pass my time.

Progressive betting is different from martingale. Assuming he start betting with 1 unit, In martingale, if one loses 10 times in a row, hes going to lose a lot of money, about 500 units Whereas in progressive betting, if one lose 10 times in a row, he lose only 15 units, which is still manageable and yet putting the dealer at a disadvantage.

In a casino, it doesn't mean
one "who has the means to lose that amount and don't feel heart pain",
or one "who is rich, lose also don't bat eyelid",
or one "who is fearless"
will win always or don't lose much.

Everyone should bet at their comfort level.
If the above what I said is true where those betting bigger amount can win, there are many big whales and fishes being invited to go casinos.

Every bet few Ks, 5-6 figures.
These are the ones we so-called fearless, rich, but if these people always win, then the casinos would have closed down already.

Bet small, win small, lose small
Bet big, win big, lose big

Comfort level. In the casino, there is no such thing as wasting time. There is only such a thing known as wasting money. Some people think, I take time to travel, so I must bet big in order to cover all the time/expenses or time that could be done for other things, so they bet big. Yes, can win big, but also can lose huge. Whether its $10, $20, $50, $100, $500, $1000 or more per bet. Most important is bet within means.

I have seen big stake players. You see their chips, one stack one stack. But you can see their losing time, also stacks and stacks of cash out.

Some people go cruise, change rolling chips. Before go home, die die must use finish the rolling. This is something I don't understand. Yes, on next trip have to change again. But rolling chips have no expiry date and can keep. When you have a lot of rolling chips after gaming, its a good sign that you are winning. Keep the rolling chips for days where the situation is lose win lose win lose win lose win. There will be days where lots of rolling chips will be used. If keep accumulating rolling chips when going cruise. That is a healthy problem.
Rolling chips are chips that are meant to be lose back.

In a casino, one must not lose temper easily and must practise humility. That is why I don't play blackjack. You see blackjack tables will be the ones where people start to "teach each other" how to play. You suan me, I suan you. What is the point to gamble this way? Blackjack/pontoon is the only game where you see people behave like this. If really expert, then expert are the ones where they can tell you the card come out is what number and what colour.:o

Bankroll Management.
The true essence of money management really comes down to bankroll management. It is how you handle your money in the casino to make sure you have enough to last for your casino visits. Money management systems will not change the odds of any game. A good bankroll management system will help you control the amount of money that you put at risk. This will enable you to play longer on your bankroll.

Win Goals and Loss Limits
Since most casino games have a negative expectation, players are advised to set a win goal and stop loss. This ensures than that they will not go broke during any given session and will hopefully not give back all the profits if they do win. Some argue that the concept of money management is nothing more than smoke and mirrors because if you play a game with a negative expectation you will lose in the long run.

I do recommend players set loss limits and win goals. The win goal is on a sliding scale and increases as the winning continues. This way the player can continue to win without having to stop at predetermined figure. The stop loss is also on a sliding scale once a player has won. This is to ensure they walk away with some of the money they have won. Again you can argue the merits of such a system but the main reason why I advocate money management is discipline. It takes discipline to be a winner at any casino game. This is especially true in poker where you have to wait for the right starting hands.

Use Common Sense
Good money management starts with good planning. Most of us set up a household budget to manage our daily expenses and we should do the same for our casino “budget. Its not difficult to do and the rewards are immense.

Before you leave for vacation decide exactly how much money you will spend for gambling. This is going to be separate from your other spending money. This must be money that you can afford to lose. This is your gambling Bankroll and you will use only this money for playing.

Divide your bankroll by the number of days you will be at the casino. Put each day’s money in a separate envelope to be used for that day only. At the end of the day put all your winnings or what ever money you have left back in the envelope and seal it. This will be money you take home with you.

Break you casino bankroll down into several playing sessions. Don’t risk it all in one playing session. Take a break between sessions.

It’s easy to leave the casino when all your money is gone. It takes discipline to walk away when you are ahead. Discipline and control is what separates the winners from the losers. If you don’t learn how to manage YOUR money, the casino will do it for you once it becomes THEIR money!

Until Next time remember:
Luck comes and goes.....Knowledge Stays Forever.

Applying habits online over to real life. Just ignore the person and no need to get into fracas over such issues.

It's the same thing, there are all kinds of people in a casino. Sometimes the things they say can unsettle the emotions. Just ignore them and remember these kind of people is aplenty. Either you ignore them or you switch another table to gamble. You do not need to be bothered with their comments. 100% focus should be spent on the table when gambling.
Like I said before this thread is meant to share, not to brag, show off, even till today, I myself am still learning. Everyday in a casino, one learns new things. If one keeps his mind close and thinks he is the best, that is his loss not ours.
Sometimes when you go to a casino, you see people's bad habits, behaviour, you learn from them. Not to learn to be like them. But learn and see all the things they do and not do it. Always learn to be humble and have a sense of humility.
Pride is one of the seven deadly sins.

I have this Baccarat Battle Book which I bought in Page One bookshop in Vivocity. Book is written by Frank Scoblete. Book is $20.30

Under 1 section is written by him which he explains the seven deadly sins of gambling. 1 of the seven is Pride.

Excerpts from his book
" No sin can compare to Pride because it creates in us a false impression of just who we are and just what we are worth Pride comes in many guises, not the least of which are arrogance, disdain, haughtiness and delusions of grandeur. It makes men believe they are gods and not subject to the same laws of nature and the universe as other mortals. "Look upon me ye mortals and beware," says the statue lying in the dust.
Pride goes before the fall?
Hell, yes.
It makes us casino gamblers think that we have inherent worth just because the casino comps us. It makes us look down players who play for smaller stakes. It makes table-games players thumb their noses at video poker players and video poker players sneer at slot players. It makes full-coin five dollar slot players disdain quarter players who smirk at five cent players. And who plays penny slots but the great unwashed masses who inhabit a world somewhere between simian and sapien. Pride deludes us into thinking that winning that big jackpot was somehow fated; in some way a testimonial to our value in the eyes of Chance and that some people will see us as special because of it. Pride makes card counters scoff at basic strategy players who scorn craps players who can't tolerate baccarat players who mock roulette players and everyone thinks the folks who play the new games are Neanderthals."

It's a long weekend, if you guys have time can go and take a look at this book I mentioned. I bought this book, because of the different philosophies one can learn from it and not only to be applied in real life but also when gambling.

Winning a lot in a casino, doesn't mean you are respected by others. Respect need to be earned by first respecting others.

For roulette lovers or mathematicians or gamblers, I just wish to share with members here that if we rolled many games in roulette, in the end, every number will appear and its frequencies are almost the same. See for yourself here http://goldcup.110mb.com/cgi-bin/individualnumbers.pl

This understanding is very important so that u can bet to your advantage and this understanding can also be applied to other games such as baccarat, sic bo etc......
