A woman has been filmed stepping into a lion enclosure at an American zoo.
Footage shows the visitor waving her hands and dancing in front of the animal at the Bronx Zoo in New York.
It is believed the unidentified woman bypassed a wooden safety barrier and stepped into the enclosure.
In the clip, the zoo visitor, wearing a blue t-shirt, can be seen standing in front of the lion as she dances and waves at the animal.
The lion does not move and watches her curiously while she taunts him.
Between the two, there is a small moat which keeps them separated and the woman does not seem to be in immediate danger.
The video was filmed by another visitor on Saturday.

Following the incident, the woman was escorted out of the zoo, CBS News reports.
Police are now on the hunt for her, saying she might face criminal trespassing charges.
A spokesperson of Bronx Zoo said: "Barriers and rules are in place to keep both visitors, staff and animals safe.

"We have a zero tolerance policy on trespass and violation of barriers."
A visitor to the zoo reacted to the video, telling CBS: "I think it is absolutely crazy, I don't know why anyone would think to climb over there."
Another person said she was worried about the animal: "I hope that nothing bad happens to the lion because of what this woman did."

The footage was posted on Instagram and has attracted many reactions by social media users.
One person wrote: "She just did that because there is that gap space between the animals and the crowd, she didn’t really go where the lion was."
